This anise on the fish was so good and the mole sauce was excellent. I was surprised at the depth of flavor the mole sauce had with only 5 minutes of prep time. I substituted roasted sunflower seeds for the almonds (because it's what I had in the pantry. But the sauce really put the fish tacos over the top. I loved this recipe and would definitely make it again and again. I'll be using the leftover mole sauce to season tomorrow's chicken. Yummy!

It was a really good recipe. I was not able to find the anise seeds anywhere. But, did the mole and came out really good. I used chipotle in adobo sauce and used the food processor to make it into a paste. Will do this one again.

Really great and simple recipe wouldn't change anything. I loved how easy the mole sauce was to make and the anise seed on the fish. I used the ancho with sauce - not sure that was considered paste, but it came out great anyway. Used with corn soft taco which was fine, may try flour next time.

I wasn't sure how a Mole recipe could work without chocolate. This came out amazing! Delicious and fantastic! What a hit! The anise seeds on the Tilapia rounded out the whole mole recipe to perfection. Also for those allergic to nuts, we used sunbutter ( made from sun flour seeds and it worked famously. 1/8th a cup for the equivalent to a 1/3 cup sliced almonds. I will keep this on rotation!!!

GREAT new take on Mole sauce. The video is well done and explains the WHY of
each step. Super easy! My husband, who does not cook, made them after watching
this video. The sauce is so good you'll want to put it other things too. Hope this guy
    does more videos!!!

Really Easy and really good missing some lime flavors. It took a little more time to make the mole and I'm not good at cooking fish so I couldn't get it golden brown. Over all it tasted good. I think it needed a little lime flavor so I added some fresh cilantro, but I wish I had a fresh lime to squeeze over each one. Love the cheese and the anise tasted great with the fish.

So I have made this dish twice in one week...its that awesome! I made it for my roommates with tilapia and aside from having plenty of extra sauce (enough for a second meal not a single morsel was left. I then made it for my boyfriend and I. He has a strict NO FISH diet so I substituted chicken breast instead. He also hates licorice but thankfully had no idea what anise is. I kicked up the spice and added a little cayenne to the chicken and rubbed it in and added more cumin to the sauce (not a lot more, just a touch. He went back for seconds and thirds. This was a definite hit and gluten free to boot!
