Very quick and easy recipe. I loved the flavors but my sister, boyfriend and daughter did not like the anise. It was not that it had too much anise they just did not like the flavor of it. Don't be afraid to pile the anise on. I thought it had a great depth of flavors.

I also could not find chili paste (went to 3 stores luckily I had my iphone so I Googled a recipe with dried chilis. The mole sauce was wonderful. I also used cabbage instead of lettuce for the crunch and nutrition.

I so agree with you most foodies can cook and heck we all know how to feed our family I am looking for some advanced learning in spices and sauces.

I've made this a few times and I love the anise seeds on the tilapia. Sometimes I screw up the chili paste (buy the wrong kind and it gets too hot. But a little tomato paste does the trick. I highly recommend.

Loved the video and plan on trying the fish tacos. Am a huge fan of anise and talapia so should be fabulous together. But most importantly FN is utilizing Mr. Saad! I have never watched an episode of Melissa - we don't need another "I can cook a meal for under $10." Tell me about spices!! Thank you, thank you!

I'm making it again for company tonight. The flavor combination of the spices and the other rich ingredients is so interesting. I wish we had more recipes from Jeffrey.

Just awful! I want to taste the fish not the spices AND hard to find half the spices he uses. Not impressed. Give me Melissa everyday of the week!
