My entire family loved this recipe. It was easy to make and looked beautiful on the plate. We want more recipes from the The Spice Smuggler!

Jeffrey's lasagna was soooo good. I don't eat red meat, so I substituted ground chicken and chicken sausage. If it made a difference in flavor, I couldn't tell it. The smoked paprika added so much flavor and color. The next day, the leftover sauce was just as good as the day before, if not better. Once again I have learned so much from watching Jeffrey and trying his recipes. Please give him a show,Food Network before you lose him to another network. Your recipes rock, Jeffrey - thank-you!

This was wonderful. I have been introduced to smoked paprika and chorizo sausage and love them. Jeffrey has removed the mystique for spices that I would never have tried until watching his videos. Thank you to another reviewer who introduced his web site. www.jeffreysaad.wordpress.com

I watched the video and said, "I have got to try this, it looks amazing". When I started to make it, I was really excited. I followed the directions to the T with the exception of not using smoked paprika, mine was just "Paprika". I guess that is where the whole recipe went wrong. I have never really cooked with Paprika, except an half teaspoon here or there. But not as a main ingrediant. No one liked it, I ended up throwing the whole thing out. Again, I was so excited, and I really did like Jeffery on the contest. With all the other wonderful reviews, I am certain I did something very wrong. I guess "Smoked" is very important.

We made the Smoked Paprika Lasagna last night and I ate waaay too much! It was so good I didn't want to stop. It made a "wonderful late night snack" too! We have been trying all of Jeffrey's recipes from Food network and from his personal web site at http://jeffreysaad.wordpress.com/. If you have not seen his web site there, you owe it to yourself to visit and try the many recipes. Jeffrey has video's of his other dishes you can watch online there as well.

I was not sure how I would like this lasagna as I am a dyed-in-the-wool baked lasagna fan (with tons and tons of cheese melted all over, but this lasagna made believers out of the entire family! We are looking forward to this dish again and again :0

Hey... Food Network execs.... let's get busy and give Jeffrey his own show! Are you on his email recipe list? Jeffrey is cooking up some fabulous stuff!

We're still waiting for the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT (you know... that you are giving Jeffrey his own show...

Well, that's all for now... but we'll be waiting! And trying more "GOOD-EATS FROM JEFFREY SAAD!"

Bought some smoked paprika a few weeks ago and was surfing the net looking for good recipes that highlight this spice. Poof! Jeffrey Saad to the rescue, and just in the nick of time. Very easy to make this dish and, overall, it really was very good. But, 1 tablespoon of salt really is too much. I was worried it might be as I was making it, but wanted to try the recipe as written first. My first impression was right -- way too salty. Next time I'll make this with 1 teaspoon of salt. Otherwise, an excellent dish.

I made this tonight and it got rave reviews from the husband. This recipe is amazing, the smoked paprika really adds depth to this dish. This is definitely not your mother's lasagna. I would love to share this dish with extended family, possibly even as a holiday meal. One of my family members can not have alcohol. Would anyone have an idea as to what I could substitute for the red wine without altering the flavor of the dish?

I can't wait to try another of Jeffrey Saad's recipes!

I actually made this last night after watching Jeffrey's video and taking notes on it (I didn't find the recipe until this morning--it was fantastic! My children gobbled it down and wanted more. It was incrdeibly easy to make. I loved the rich flavor of the meat sauce and it is so much healthier without all the extra pasta and cheese. This recipe is a real keeper, just like all of Jeffrey's other recipes. Please give him a fulltime show!!

I made the sauce and loved the sausage and paprika taste. The kitchen smelled wonderful from the smoked paprika. I might put a little more sausage in next time as I put one link (it was just under what Jeffrey said to use and I should have purchased two as it made the sauce tasty. Will make again!
