I'm not very experienced with jicama, so I'll give this slaw 4 stars. The slaw was terrific- it was the bitterness of the jicama my husband and I didn't care for.

This is a great tasty different way to make slaw. Jicama in slaw? Yes, Jicama in slaw and don't forget those mandarin oranges, yum, yum, yum. My husband not a big fan of slaw but he really enjoyed it along with his new favorit Turkey burger (Apple Maple Turkey burger and sweet potato fries. Great meal. Your family is going to love this dinner.

The slaw was yummy, crunchy and different. The jicama and mandarin oranges add a great new taste. However, I think it tasted better the next day. The slaw was a a little less crunchy, but still good. This slaw is perfect for bar-ba-ques.

This was a very delicious and cruncy salad. The fajita seasoning gave it a good taste. Everyone loved this salad. To make it taste great and crunchy, add the dressing just before serving. I made the salad a few hours prior to our picnic and then added the dressing right before we ate and it was ideal. It was still good later, but much less crunchy and a little more soupy.

This was a nice, light salad to go with our grilled meats. It had a good crunch and the sweetness of the mandarin oranges was a nice contrast to the seasonings.

This recipe prepped very quickly with many on-hand items. The slaw was a big hit at our BBQ.

I made this salad for a family gathering and got rave reviews. I get so tired of the same old salads and this was refreshing and yummy. So easy to make too and was completely gobbled up. I served it with a spicy chicken and it was a great compliment. I would however, go light on the pour because it does get saucy.

This slaw was delicious. Everyone loved it!

And for Scungilligirl from Carson City, NV: where does it say to use a PACKAGE of TACO seasoning? No wonder it didn't taste good... you ruined the recipe. You are supposed to use 1/4 TEASPOON of FAJITA seasoning. They are very different.

The flavors didn't really blend together as I'd hoped. I love jicama and have it all the time. The package of taco seasoning on the slaw was over the top.
