I have to say that I was a little leary of the mayo. That said; this was fantastic. I used it on hogies since it's what I had. You can use as much or as little of this wonderful spread as you want. It will keep in the fridge for at least a week.

This recipe needs work. As an experienced cook I think I can make it work but if you just read the recipe you would conclude that you are to use the entire recipe of garlic butter on one loaf of bread. NO WAY can you, or should you, put 3/4 lb of butter and 1/2 cup of mayo on one loaf of bread. You'll maybe use 1/4 of the garlic butter. I guess you could freeze the rest and use it another time.
