I made this according to the directions. My family enjoyed it. The lemon zest made it refreshing, but not so noticeable lemony. I measured the flour before I dredged the chicken and after. For 9 oz. of chicken, I used 1 Tbs. flour and 1 and half tbs. of oil.. Thus, making this dish low calorie.

I actually tried it out of whim because I'm in mood for fried chicken but to my surprise. I love it. I tried the first batch. It is little plain for my taste. For second batch I added cayenne pepper as well to spice it up also added some hot sauce (I preferred Louisiana Hot Sauce. It was delicious. This can be eaten with steamed rice.

Next time when I make this again, I'm going to try make this with something more hotter...maybe with jalape?o or red pepper.

This recipe is wonderful! The chicken is moist, tasty and so easy to make. I cut two big chicken breasts in half (the thickness, didn't pound it and then just followed the rest of the recipe. Mmm, mmm good!

I bearly cook and this recipe was perfect. My son bearly eat meat and he ate all the chicken so that's an "A+". Was very easy to make. I used more than 2tsp of olive oil. I served the chiken on top of some fresh salad and some bake bread. I'm very happy and pleased.

i added some poultry seasoning to the chicken before i dredged it in the cheese/egg mix and it was great. the more seasoning, the better!
however, i did have a problem with the olive oil. it would smoke up while my chicken is frying.... i actually had to switch over to veggie oil for my second batch and it still turned out great. maybe not as crispy, but still good!

i also took out the lemon zest because i'm not too fond of it.

I've made this recipe at least 10 times and it always turns out great. It's a hit with my young kids too. I use chicken tenderloins because they are the perfect size and they are easy to pound out.

Really needs more oil than the 2t. which would increase the fat and calories. Noone loved the lemon taste.

This recipe is great. Also try leaving out the lemon, and adding some poultry seasoning when you salt & pepper the chicken. BBQ sauce makes a good dipping sauce for this when cooked without the lemon.
