Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups soy sauce
  • 1 roasted jalapeno, peeled, deseeded, diced
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 teaspoons chopped ginger
  • 2 teaspoons chopped lemon grass
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 4 (6-ounce) halibut fillets

Directions

In a large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients. Let halibut fillets marinate for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Remove halibut from marinade and pat dry with paper toweling. On a hot grill, cook halibut on both sides until thoroughly cooked. Remove from grill and serve.
