I made this dish yesterday and it was delicious. I followed it exactly with the exception of the olive oil. Since I try to limit fats, I started with 2 Tblsp and added as needed. It is a keeper.

I made this last night with thighs only. I also included mushrooms--Bobby was right; they belong in this dish. (Google Chicken Cacciatore recipes and you'll find most of them include mushrooms. Like Mr. Young, I served it over saffron rice. This was the best Chicken Cacciatore I have ever eaten.

Great recipe! Reminds me of my mother's recipe! This and Ree Drummond's recipe for Beef & Snow Peas are tied for my favorite recipes from Food Network!

This is a family favorite! Did a couple things different: used thighs and drums, seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder before flouring. Also added sliced black olives at the end and used a little more salt and pepper than what was called for. Made this for a large birthday party so doubled the recipe and served over spaghetti noodles.

Very hearty and great flavor, definitely more salt to taste. I used boneless skinless chkn thighs instead which have a much better flavor than breasts.

Had to try it after watching the episode the other night. I followed the recipe and my family and I thought it was just ok. Needs more salt. Luckily, I added salt and pepper to the chicken prior to cooking. Be careful, this recipe makes quite a lot.

I'm on a low carb diet, so I didn't make the rice. It was very good, but I'm not sure I liked it as much as Bobby's

Excellent recipe! Everytime I've made it I get rave reviews and everyone loves eating it! I've also used 6 chicken breasts when I want to use a healthier chicken. This has wine AND chicken broth which give it a very rustic taste and makes it very comforting to eat. A great make-ahead meal which tastes even better the next day. Hubby doesn't like green peppers so I used 4 red peppers and I used 1/2 tsp Cayenne because I didn't have red pepper flakes and it tasted great. I served it with rice which was cooked in chicken broth. I saw this episode of Throwdown and Bobby Flay's recipe looked good too but this recipe won...Make this recipe, you won't be disappointed!
