I wanted to settle the 2 reviews below me so let me say, these were truly delicious! They rose just fine and taste AMAZING! All my friends want the recipe. I have to say I didn't make the curd, (Someone else will have to review that part but the rest of the recipe was perfect. Just make sure you use Key Limes, not regular ones, and put enough baking soda. I didn't have to change the recipe at all. Wish I could post a link to pics because I took some nice ones of this recipe.

Not sure what recipe the other reviewer was looking at but this recipe was AH-MAZ-ING. With a tablespoon of baking powder there is nothing to do but raise! I added silver tequila to the curd and frosting, cutting the lime juice in half, and they turned out perfectly! So excited to make these again and to try other Cupcake War recipe.

This recipe was gross!!!! The batter didn't taste good. When it hit the oven, it spilled over and never rose. These cupfakes hit the trash and it hurted to waste all those good ingredients. The frosting isn't much better. I'll be finding another recipe to use the frosting on. Maybe someone else can try it and have success. . . I think I'll stick to recipes that have been reviewed and proven.
