the vegan episode was the best by far. i made these and they were delicious. i agree with blazingflame, the lavender was strong so i would add less. ALso, the tangerine tasted more like lemon but it was still great. If i make these again I would make regular sized cupcakes-this was the timeliest cupcake recipe I've ever used just to make bite-sized pieces.

My 14 year old daughter made these beautiful cupcakes. The cakes were very moist and tasty. The only complain that the whole family had, was that the frosting was way to strong due the lavender extract. You should defiantly put less than what the recipe says. (About 1/2 a teaspoon Also, the lavender extract does not give any color so, you should put some blue and red food coloring. It may not get colored at first but wait until it is totally mixed and if it still doesn't come, then just add a little more!

tangerines and lavender are the perfect flavor combo
