    Fabulous! This pie was so much easier than I thought it would be. It was my very first Lemon Meringue Pie ever! I have made many pies but I just thought Lemon Meringue would be too difficult. I made this for my daughter's birthday because she doesn't like cake and Lemon Meringue is her favorite. Making it with milk cuts the tartness but it still has lots of lemon flavor. This pie was so beautiful that we had to take a picture of it & my daughter put it on Facebook to show everyone what her Mother made for her. Everyone was raving about it as we ate it....so good!! This will be one of our family's favorite. Thanks!

    This pie is outstanding. It is a lot of work and takes quite a bit of time, but it is so well worth the effort. I have made this pie on several occasions and everyone says it is the best lemon pie they have every had and I couldn't agree more. You will love it!

    Totally easy! It looks long but really it's just because he's given you options ...

    * Flaky pastry was yummy - my first time making it too! Might need slightly longer than 20mins to blind bake though
    * Custard was mmmm; I ran out of fresh milk so I used Evaporated. Was great!
    * I didn't bother whipping my meringue over the double boiler; just used my Kenwood and was careful not to overwhip.

    Eating it as we speak and I wouldn't change a thing!!
