    The recipe is fantastic and wonderful, but I also wanted to say "CONGRATULATIONS!!!". I was so nervous before the announcement and extremely excited afterwards. It is well deserved and finally a little hispanic twist to Iron Chef. I am Ecuadorian/Puerto Rican and married to an Ecuadorian and we both can't wait to see you compete.

    The moment I saw Garces as one of the contestants of the next Iron Chef, I already wanted him to win.

    He gave an impression to me when he beat out Bobby Flay on the Iron Chef episode and saw his great presentation on his food and his cool natured presence.

    Though Im not Latin, I liked him and happy that he won over Appleman, Mehta & Mullen.

    See you more on Iron Chef episodes & Congratulations!!!!!!!!

    Obviously you know your way around the kitchen.....but you are a nice guy to listen to and your team attitude was great....I was pulling for you all seasonl Best to you. My son is in Philly all the time, will give him your restaurants to try.

    Congratulations Chef Garces! My family had an unforgettable evening meal at Amada in Philadelphia. It was the best meal I have ever eaten in a restaurant and set the standard for all to follow. The presentation and taste were out of this world and opened my eyes up to what an experience such a meal could be.

    We look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Philly. We could imagine, watching you present your plates on Iron Chef finale, just how wonderful they tasted. Congratulations on this much-deserved award!

    Love, love, LOVE that you're our newest Iron Chef!!!!! I was shouting "Go, Garces! Go!" the whole time. Finally, a latino in the kitchen...not that it wasn't fun watching Bobby Flay add chile and chorizo to everything :
