Flavor was great!! Did not taste like cereal at all. The only issue I had was getting the breading to stick. Next time I'll flour the onion rings before I place them in the egg, or I might try buttermilk instead of egg. Will definitely make again!

These are so crunchy and have lots of flavor. I did add chili powder as suggested in the show. I had another baking onion ring recipe from weight watchers and these are so much better!! Thank you!

Lots of Fibre which my hubby eats every day.I enjoy Onion Rings, tho' Baked. Works for both of Us.Have heard if add a smidge of olive oil to the "batter" will help keep the Crunchy parts from falling off before you eat.Haven't tried w/this recipe. Yet works w/others...

I love onion rings but do not like the 500 calorie price tag that comes with them. These are an excellent alternative. They came out crIspy and wonderfully seasoned. Hungry girl is right up my ally. I love great food but with lower fat and calorie alternatives. Try these!

Listen, these onion rings rock! The reviewer that didnt like it must have made them wrong or something! They were sweet and crunchy just like they are supposed to be. You also have to keep in mind that these will not be the fried greasy rings you usually get but they are delicious, really!

OMG my new go-to treat!! sooo good. and I know one reviewer said it tasted like cereal, and I couldn't agree less! I seasoned mine up with garlic, salt and pepper (didn't have any onion salt and it was fabulous! a tiny hint of "sweet", kinda like Sonic's onion rings. but what I like about this recipe, is the coating isn't really heavy like Sonic's. I had a yellow squash, and some left over coating, so I tried it! it was really good too. I don't usually keep cereal in the house, so I may make up a bunch of this breading to have in the freezer, ready to go. Although it couldn't be any easier to make. I used 2 "real" eggs instead of the substitute. You gotta try this.... hhmmm "fried pickles" maybe???? thanks hungry girl!

this was not a satisfying substitution for onion rings. The coating tasted like the cereal. Not good.
