You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds broccoli, fresh or frozen, cut into florets
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (14-ounce) package herb seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 8 ounces Cheddar, shredded

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Steam the broccoli in a pan with 1/2-inch water, over medium heat, until crisp tender. Drain and add to a large bowl. Add the cream of mushroom soup, stuffing mix, and butter and stir to combine. Spread evenly into a 9 by 13-inch ovenproof baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes topping with cheese before last 10 minutes of cooking. Remove from the oven and serve.

    As it currently is, I wouldn't call it a "casserole." I would rename it broccoli stuffing. We made it this way, and then we made it again and modified it slightly: add an extra can of cream of mushroom soup, because with only one can it's just too dry. Also: decrease the amount of cheese on top. Next time I make it, I also plan to add 1/2 of a large onion, chopped.
    Otherwise...quick easy recipe, good for potlucks at work.
