    Overall, the recipe worked as described. In the end, I thought the taste was a major cut above the normal mac and cheese. I agree that the bread crumb topping really makes the dish. My kids, however, (who are of average finickyness only ate a couple of bites. My wife thought that the cheese was probably to sharp for their tastes. So, I think this is a good recipe for adults, just don't have your hopes up for the whole family.

    I really liked this recipe. It classes up the traditional mac & cheese. However, I did need to add extra penne pasta to the dish. Otherwise it is too much cheese and not enough pasta.

    I served this at christmas dinner and have rave reviews. the chopped herbs in the bread crumbs really finishes the dish.

    Recipe sounds great, but when I made it, it didn't have a great flavor to it. Wouldn't make it again. The best part of the recipe is that it's very gooey.
