I did not give this recipe any stars because it has to be one of the worst things I have ever cooked. Where did she come up with the idea that she was a cook? Never will even look at one of her recipes never mind trying one. Again horrible, horrible horrible.

I was a little concerned when at the last minute I learned we were having company for dinner and this person is a kind of fussy eater. Needn't have worried. This dinner was a smash with everyone and so simple to make. The flavors were amazing. The only changes I made were that I used all Jalapenos and I had an avocado and threw it in to the salsa. Best salsa ever by the way. Thanks Melissa!

I made this as an appetizer for a dinner party for 8. I used pork tenderloin instead of flank steak. They were excellent and a total crowd pleaser!

I made this recipe b/c I'd loved the other 2 recipes of Melissa's that I'd already made, but I never expected to like it. In the past, I've not liked mangos or black beans or hot peppers, so I definitely thought this was not going to be to my liking. Boy, was I surprised! I made the recipes just as described except for the type of steak. IT WAS FANTASTIC! It was not hot/spicy as I thought it would be from all the peppers. We had it for dinner, & again for lunch the next day, when it was even better b/c the salsa had blended even more. I can't wait to make this recipe again & to share it with others!

My boyfriend and I made this dish last night for dinner. It was sooo good. We marinated the steak for about 2 hours and fried up flour tortillas instead of corn. We can see why Melissa won!

Congrats on your WIN Melissa! I was rooting for you!!! I'm so glad you won because now we can have more DELICIOUS recipes like this one! We made this last week and LOVED it! I used jalapenos instead of the poblanos and habanero. We're making it again this week for company and can't wait to see how much they love it! Thanks for the recipe and Congratulations!

Melissa, first off congratulations on your big victory from all your fans in the Ft. Worth area.

That was an amazing dish, simple, and so delicious. My roommate and I have made it 3 times now already! Yes, we know it's a lot, but it's that good!!!!

What a great recipe. I made just the meat portion the first time for some kids and served it simply as soft tacos with the usual lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. It was a big hit. The second time I made the complete recipe for my family. I changed the amount of lime juice and honey in the salsa because it seemed to be an extreme amount. The first bite with all the components was such a wonderful blend of flavors that worked perfectly together. Thank you Melissa for the fabulous recipe. We will be enjoying it over and over again.
    We're rooting for you!

I made an improvised version of this recipe last weekend. I didn't have habeneros or skirt steak so I used london broil and used red pepper flakes in the marinade. Not a big mango fan so I used grilled pineapple in the salsa instead. It came out pretty tasty!
