What a great new way to do Brussels sprouts! I mistakenly started making this dish without noticing that I was out of maple syrup. So, I substituted 2 tbsp of clover honey. To my delight, it was amazing!

Looks like I just found a new way to prepare Brussels Sprouts! Cut back a little on the amount of bacon to about 3 slices AND used 100% pure (home-made maple syrup. The first words out of my wife's mouth was "Oh, my!" ME TOO!

Wow, even without the bacon this was delicous. I used...shoot me. Low fat maple syrup and the dish was delicous....a different take on what can be boring brussel sprouts.I think even the kids could enjoy this one
