This was the best turkey we have had in years. We usually tend to avoid turkey because any recipe we make either dries it up or is not tasty. This one was perfectly juicy and delicious! The extra sauce for the turkey instead of gravy made it very yummy! It was a big hit!

Super nice change from standard roast turkey. Loved the sauce instead of gravy. Super moist and looked beautiful.

I made this yesterday after finding I had accidentally set the timer for this episode on my DVR. >_<

The meat was savory, delicious, and in no way as spicy as I thought it was going to be. All the ingredients worked well together and that little extra tequila added just that right touch of awesomeness you get when you know what you're making is going to get anyone tasting it excited. The only thing I did differently was cooking the bird in an oven bag.

Thank you for making this the best Thanksgiving dinner ever!!!! :D

*my husband won't be joining us this Thanksgiving, so we had to do everything a few days early : / *

wow, great flavors, I actually tested on a chicken first as I plan to use it for Thanksgiving dinner, but was not so sure on how it would taste, it was soooo juicy, that tequila, butter and stock really works, so flavorful, must try it!!!

Marcela. The for the recipe and your show. I made the turkey yesterday
and it was a big, big hit. I need to make more sauce for those whom want
more with their portion of turkey. Its a great change of pace to roasting a
    turkey. Everyone loved it!

I made this last night. My turkey came of very juicy, tender and flavorful. Easy recipe. The only problem was that I had no drippings. The bottom of the pan burned. So have a plan B for the gravy just in case it happens to you. In the first 40 minutes of baking, the skin of the turkey becomes golden brown. I than put a loose foil on top of it so it wouldn't char. My guests applauded me on a great turkey.
