I've been a bit disappointed by some of her recipes but I can honestly say this one is great! I use Cod and buy homemade tortillas (which are thicker and hold up better.
Don't skimp on the Cream Sauce or Salsa, you need both for a rounded flavor and it makes the tacos even better!

It was great. I used cod instead of halibut though. My husband even ate the leftovers for breakfast the next day...cold! We'll definately have this again.

My husband absolutely loved these. Wouldn't stop raving about them. Was perfectly happy with the crema and refused to add salsa which was a first since he is usually a chile fiend. Couldn't get halibut, so we used tilapia and it was awesome. We also used the shredded cabbage from fresh coleslaw kit just because we got it free with fish. Highly recommend this!!!!

I live in The SF Bay Area. We eat mexican all the time. Its a common choice when we eat out...This was the first time I made fish tacos. It was a hit. The beer battered fish were light and crispy. Cream was a good compliment to the salsa borracha. I had to watch the amount of salsa, too much and I couldn't taste anything else. Kids liked it. Everyone said they would eat this anytime.

These were absolutely the best fish tacos I have ever had in my life. I used tilapia and a salsa verde alongside with the cream sauce. If you've never tried Crema Mexicana instead of sour cream you should really give it a try. Even our picky 11 year old loved it.

Had to substitute the Halibut for Flounder, but the flounder was fresh, so it worked. We really enjoyed it. Also, on the show, she garnished with salsa borracho, so that's what we did. It was very good. I made the sauces ahead of time, so that when my guests arrived, I only needed to fry the fish and let everyone assemble their own taco!

I made the Crema and served it over pan seared Talapia last night for a quick supper. It is wonderful and so simple. It made a quick supper a great meal.

These Baja Style Fish Tacos are excellent! The cream sauce is quite tasty and blends so well with the Salsa Borracha! Our new family favorite! Everything was easy to prepare, the sauces can be made in advance - OUTSTANDING!

OMG, I dont really like fish especially in a taco but when I made this recipe with cod, it was incredible, the creme sauce makes this taco though, the batter is great and the fish i used was perfect. The halibit at the store was almost double the cost of the cod. I am glad I chose the cod though because It was crazy good. Will make this recipe over and over again...note to readers do not put the salsa borracha on these tacos, the salsa's recipe was certainly a dud. It would have ruined these delicous tacos.
