    I used her pico de gallo salsa instead of the green tomatillo sauce and the taste and flavor of the tacos, where the same as the ones I had eaten in san felipe baja calif ( home of the original fish taco.

    I added some adobo sauce from canned chipotles to the cream sauce for a little kick. I also used rice flour and club soda to make a really light, crispy batter like you would for fish and chips. Awesome.

    My family loved these. I've made them twice to rave reviews.. I've tried halibut, and tilapia. and different beers, sooo easy to make..the rich creamyness of the
    sauce and crunchy cabbage and fish makes a wonderful combo

    Loved these tacos! Definitely authentic and easy to make. I wish FoodNetwork would put on Marcela more often. She's great and they really need someone who can gives us GOOD Spanish-Mexican recipes.
