This is delicious! You should try fresh chorizo from a Mexican meat market. NOT GREESY at all. Marcela has fabulous recipes. Keep up the good work.

This is so delicious. Put this wonderful chef on our PRIMETIME and take off the boring cooks like INA,Paula and Rachel. We shouldn't have to set our alarms to see this great chef. Her dishes are ALL delicious.

Wonderful! A great crowd pleaser! Keep it warm if you don't want it to firm up too quick.

I think it's funny that others are pointing out that Chorizo is greasy. Is this the first time you've had this sausage? All sausage is greasy, but yes this sausage is especially greasy. That said, this is a pretty good recipe for a home based fundido. It's pretty similar to what we have at our local mexican restaurant. My wife is mexican and she liked it. This isn't amazing but it is authentic and tasty.

It looked DELICIOUS on her show - BUT - it's not really great.
The Chirizo is VERY GREESY and the cheese just doesn't work with it - when you scoope it onto a tortilla its a gloppy mess - will NOT make this again. I don't know how the people below rated this A HIT!
I can't imagine sitting around a coffee table on a couch watching a game and eating this - at least we were at the table! YUK! Sorry Marcela - I would like to try the short rib tacos - they look GREAT!

Wow - wish I could say it was good...but is was awful. Maybe if I used the Italian sausage with the Mozzarella it would have turned out better. Cooking times/temps were both inaccurate. Don't bother with this recipe - I've had excellent "Fundido" and this was not it.
