Amazing!!!!!!!! I wanted to try it before Thanksgiving to see how it would turn out. YUMMY!!!! The yams will never be boring again with this recipe. I used cashews instead of almonds, not a fan of almonds.

Ohhhh, so yummy! I made this recipe twice last year during the holidays and I was about to flip out when I couldn't find the recipe for this year. Can't wait to make it again!

Dios Mio! Or o.m.g.! This was the hit of our Thanksgiving multi-cultural potluck this year! It was so good we are throwing out the traditional "coconut-pecan family recipe" that I was known for -For this new DELICIOSO Banana-Yam Casserole! No leftovers on this casserole dish - though I wish there were!!! Keep on cooking Marcela! You have some huge fans in Orange County, CA!!!

This was a hit! Im not to crazy about the traditional yam recipe's especially the canned ones but this year I wanted to try new recipe's and this was so easy to make! It was delicious! The banana made it sweet and the fact that the yams were fresh was the best since I have little ones and like to feed them fresh nutritious foods. I did double the recipe though.:

I made this for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it! It's a great dessert without being overly sweet, it was a good change of pace from the regular desserts and it was easy to make.
