I cooked it on the grill outdoors. Fast and delicious. The whole family and friends loved it. The best way to serve carne asada!!!

Great recipe and very easy to prepare/cook. Inexpensive too! I went a step further and took the marinade, including the veg/orange, added some tequila and threw in a pot and reduced it down to about a 1/2 cup. Then I strained it and used it as a nice pan sauce for the meat. Garnished with some fresh cilantro and it was delicious!

Very fresh tasting and delicious. All of Marcellas recipes remind me of the Mexican food that I grew up eating in Southern California.

This was the best flank steak I've ever had. Super tender and tasty. Used this recipe and the two other she did on this show for my first BBQ of the season and what a hit it was!

I will be making this one again and again! Layers of flavor with the meat made this so delicious. I used meat I found at the market that was precut for carne asada, and followed the recipe directions. I am astounded how easy this was. I am a soccer and softball mom, and I typically marinate meat, go to work and practices/games, and then come home and grill the marinated meat/poultry for dinner. I will be putting this into my recipe rotation immediately. Use a good beer and a good soy sauce (I like Longevity.

Marcela isn't canceled; it says so on her website. Thank god. This is the first of her recipes I tried (btw I added lime in the marinade and pounded the beef a little too and she is my favorite Food Network show host right now. I think she is authentic, yet makes food that's easy for the rest of us. On to the review. It was quite a simple fix; a one-dish quick marinade and quick grill with just a few cheap easy ingredients. And it was one of those steaks you just go "Mmmmmm" after tasting. So juicy and flavorful. The marinade doesn't overpower the steak. It adds to it. The marinade's taste is subtlely there, but the steak is just so good and rich.
