I'm SO happy about this show! I was so excited to try this marinade. I already had flank steak and it turned out great. My husband and I loved it so much I'm trying it again with pork.

This recipe is an absolute snap to make. Just throw the whole thing together, let it marinate in the 'fridge for a few hours and then pop it on the grill. The flavors are so yummy and so distinctive. I used bottom sirloin (steak tip meat because my butcher was all out of skirt steak, and it was delicious. You could probably use flank steak, as well, but that would certainly require an overnight stay in the marinade in order to break down the meat and reduce the toughness. Another fantastic recipe, Marcela. Muchas gracias!

Just returned from Mexico and are missing the food already. Just saw her show and reminded me of the meal we had the day before we left. Can't wait to try it!

I watched the show this morning, and decided I would try it for dinner tonight. I just have to say, my family and I LOVED it! The flavor of the meat was Incredible, and so easy to make. We sliced it up after cooking it, then put it in flour tortillas with all the fixin's. I also made black beans and yellow rice to go along with it, and it was such a nice meal. Honestly had we went out to a restaurant and had gotten this same dish, I would be going back all the time! Thanks Marcela for such a great recipe, I will be watching your show for more fantastic recipes like this from now on!
