We absolutely love this. We were a little gunshy the first time; I mean, who ever heard of peanut chicken tacos? But it turned out to be amazing. I use Bibb lettuce instead of tortillas, my husband prefers flour tortillas. We add a little water (just rinse out the blender to the pan to make the sauce a little less thick. Last night we made this with cashews and cashew butter, since we were out of peanuts. Still fantabulous.

Nasty. I had to throw it away. Not a good combination at all..

Two tomatoes aren't enough for all the peanuts. I tried this again with three large tomatoes and left the other ingredients as is. It came out just fine. Also...for those who complained the sauce was bland...be sure to use the adobo from the can of chipotle chiles, not bottled adobo sauce. That's where you get the heat!

If you follow the recipe you will end up with crunchy peanut butter and chicken...thats exactly what it tastes like--nothing special. The tomato and the adobe sauce get lost in the sauce. So of course, I had to "save" the peanut sauce and my meal! Because the peanut sauce is thick, I added some of the water from the boiled tomatoes in the blender. I added some chipotle sauce to my liking and garlic powder. Instead of mixing the sauce with the chicken, I arranged the chicken on my plate and drizzled the peanut sauce over. I added sauteed onions and red bellpeppers over the sauce--which made ALL THE DIFFERENCE!

I used this recipe as a base and flavored it to my taste. I added garlic, more adobo sauce as well as salt and pepper. I didn't have any sesame seeds or cilantro that day so we topped it with peanuts and lettuce as well as sour cream. It was really such a different way to have chicken in our house.

I tried this recipes, but it was very bland. My husband who is mexican didn't like it either. I tried other suggestions by adding cumin, garlic and salt. This didn't help either. This is one I won't be trying again.

This dish is SUPER easy to make but I suggest adding some more flavoring to your liking. I added more chipotle sauce, a dash of cumin, and on top of the cilantro I sprinkled some queso fresco. While I thought it was good my husband thought it was great. He took all the leftovers for lunch.

Seriously lacked flavor. Sorry to say it, because so many of her recipes taste really good. I was hopeful about this one, but I had to add extra adobo from the chipotles, scallions, the juice of 2 limes and some hot sauce to make this taste like anything. Just didn't work for me although it looked good on TV and sounded good on paper. It's edible, but I won't make it again.

I saw this recipe on TV this morning and was pumped to try it. Although really easy to make, it really didn't have much flavor and I wouldn't try this again.

This recipe sounded wonderful on the TV show this morning although she omitted stiring the chicken into the peanut sauce before plating up her taco. I am glad I took the time to look at the recipe - I will try it tonight and probably add a squeeze of lime. Cilantro and sesame seeds are a nice addition.
