These recipes always bring me back to my roots and I love it. I didn't have the makings for tomatillo salsa, so I used my recipe for red chile sauce and used it instead. Either way, I say delisioso!

The tomatillo salsa makes this dish great - though it is quite spicy. I used all of the sauce after reading other reviews. I used a combo of roasting and broiling and ended up adding one cup of broth to get it to the right consistency/amount for the number of servings. I usually have/make chilaquiles with eggs, but decided to take her optional suggestion of adding beans to it - and they were really good in it. Yum!

Fast easy and very flavorful. Made it at the firehouse for breakfast. I don't know if you anything about the firehouse but they can be picky. I had 3 guys ask me for the recipe. Will make again maybe just make more sauce to top over the entire plate when serving.

did not make the chilaquiles but loved the salsa verde. I wanted to make chicken enchiladas for May 5 fiesta dinner but ran out of so I picked up a rotisserie chicken and make the roasted salsa verde. delish. my kids cut up the chicken and put it in tortilas more like a burito with the green stuff and even my son mr. franks hot sauce went wild. I thought I would have enough leftovers to make enchilladas later this weekend but they inhaled both chickens and licked the food processor dry
