Marcella really makes authentic Mexican Food that otherwise is not authentic when others cook it. Keep her on the show.

I replaced the chiles with Poblano peppers to turn down the spice and it turned great!

I've been trying Marcelas recipe and it is really authentic. Anyway, this dish was delicious. I used jalapenos instead of serranos. Next time I will use serranos to give it a leven ittle more kick. Also added chicken to the dish cuz I felt it needed protein. The hubby liked it a lot. Again another successful adventure in the kitchen making Mexican food Marcela style. Thanks for the awesome recipes keep it coming. I wanna try the baja style fish tacos next. Hugs Marcela.

Not too spicy, but definitely tasty. I made it exactly to the recipe, and it turned out fantastic! I can't wait to try the salsa as a topping for my other Mexican favorites!
