Mouth watering! It was so tender and the meat just fell off the bone. The sauce was the perfect mix of sweet/savory/spicy. There were no leftovers!

Great sauce-easy to make! I too found the Plum Sauce in the Asian section of the supermarket. I found that I needed more sauce in the end, so making a little extra would be my only reccomendation. Overall dee-lish!

I loved this recipe. I honestly don't know why people buy already made barbecue sauce when you can mix up just a handful of ingredients from the fridge and pantry and make something amazing. My only suggestion is to make extra of the sauce. I think the lengthy cooking time eventually blends the flavors and you don't taste much of the coffee or adobo in the end. The sauce was so delicious you want people to be able to taste the sauce and pick up on those unique flavors. And this couldn't be easier. My father loved his Father's Day dinner. Thank you so much!

To tmoorer: She was MAKING the barbeque sauce - coffee, adobo, plum sauce, etc. Please do not downgrade a recipe because you did not understand.
To estefhanyamon: Plum sauce is usually in Chinese/Oriental section. Está en la sección de comidas Chinas. Es una salsa dulce.
This whole menu is great! ¡Bien rico!

These were a hit. On the show, she only used the adobo sauce, not the chipotles that are in the adobo sauce, so that's what we did as well. Before taking the out of the oven, we blasted them under the broiler for a minute or two to thicken up the glaze and it worked great. Served with her corn mashed poatoes with fresh corn from farmer's market. We will definitely be making this again! In fact, I'd like to try it with chicken as others have suggested.

On the tv show, she said to start off with bbq sauce, but she didn't indicate how much. Anyone know?
