As soon as I saw this, I had to try it! The hollandaise has an extra special kick with the chipotle pepper, and definitely sets it apart from others that I've tried. I even used it with my own chicken cordon bleu, and it was delicious!

Added extra chipotle to the hollandaise sauce. I did not have a food process or blender, but I had a magic bullet and added the butter in a little at a time and turned out perfect. I also put some butter in a pan and toasted the croissants. I still do not have the poaching egg part down but still turned out great.

Love the show. Love the host. Love how Marcela tells you what you can sub for other ingredients!

Personaly, I liked this recipe and 'scott from honolulu' do you get touretts or something? I mean, whats with all the anger against this recipe? This recipe great! And there are other regions of mexican food too! Like, I dunno, THE NORTH AND THE SOUTH? Like the food from the Northern region is VERY Different from the one in the Southern Region! So save your touretts for YouTube! And you really need to work on your grammar and spelling! :D

The sauce was great. i won't be having my cholesterol checked anytime soon though. The whole poaching of the egg process did not work the way it did on the show. Her eggs worked so well. I gave up, since I make a mean over easy anyway.

This is a great spin on traditional Eggs Benedict. The Chipotle addition really brings the flavor to a new, higher level, right through the roof.
As a retired executive chef of 25 years, I truly hope Marcela is with the food network for many years to come.

I don't know why there are bad reviews for this recipe - it was very good. The sauce had a nice kick and was very easy to make. I have always been afraid to make Hollandaise from scratch but this was easy...I will never use packaged Hollandaise again! Everyone should stick to reviewing the current recipe not her other ones - whats up with that? I look forward to watching more of the shows and getting more Mexican recipes!

The hollandaise tasted more like mayonnaise and not like a true hollandaise. It was ok but the chipotle flavor was lacking and I even added an extra chile (it was just overwhelmed by the eggie, oily taste. Also, I think half the hollandaise recipe would be sufficient for the Eggs Benedict, I had way to much. I like the show and will keep watching it because I love Mexican Food and Marcela truly seems like she has simple, practical ideas for her dishes. I was just unimpressed by this one.

An easy, delicious weekend breakfast dish! Hollandaise was perfect; great idea using the blender, so it doesn't break like when I wisk it in a pan. Used english muffins instead of croissant. I'd make this again.
