    The messiness wasn't a problem with me, I do this with chiles all the time so I know the tricks. And with the cheese spilling out well you can't fill the jalapeno all the way.

    Too messy! I followed the directions the problem was that even with the bacon to wrap the pepper the cheese spilled out by the time the bacon cooked. Sorry this recipe did not work for me sticking with my other recipe.

    These are wonderful!!! Roasty, salty, smokey, creamy goodness! If you can't handle spicy, don't use JALAPENOS!

    good but too hot and the cheese melted all over the grill before bacon done...i would use a milder pepper next time and a toothpick or something to hold bacon on better,,,won't make this again as is..

    Extremely HOT!!
    We love hot and spicy food,however, these were beyond hot. The recipe was very easy to follow and we were looking forward to having this appetizer with our cocktail. But unfortunately they were just too hot to eat. I don't know if it was the particular jalapeno peppers I purchased, because I have had stuffed jalapenos on several other occasions, but none ever this hot.

    They were very good We were able to handle the heat although we made sure to get most of the veins out. I'll definitely make them again.
