This recipe is SO DELICIOUS! Definately one of favorite dishes. My boyfriend and I love it. I did make a few adjustments to the salsa -- I added tomatoes, fresh ginger and brown sugar to taste. The lime gives it a nice bite and the brown sugar and ginger even it out really nicely. The tomatoes add some texture. I didn't use the serrano but I might try it at some point. All in all, this recipe is GREAT and I will be making it many, many, more times. :

My family loved it and used taco shells instead. I was the only one who used lettuce as the wrapper, a great low cal alternative. Very easy to make. Next time I might try marinating the meat in red wine to try something different.

This was very good. I used skirt steak, and marinated it for only 50 minutes. I would definitely use low sodium soy sauce for the 'salsa', I used regular and it was way too salty (that's all I had in the house. The Bibb lettuce was a nice change, though my family chose to use a corn tortilla and put the lettuce over it. Another winner from Marcela!

This was really good. I made it in the broiler. my family enjoyed it and it was easy to make. I am grateful for a meal that they like and his reasonably healthy. may try chicken next time.
