    Runny :(
I wondered how this would "set" without the use of a pudding mix. It didn't. Seems like something was left out. All of my ingredients were used at room temperature; not sure if that had anything to do with its consistency or not. Good taste, but very disappointed in the texture. How does this have 5 stars when most people said it didn't turn out right?

I was a little skeptical about this dessert getting thick enough to spoon, and after reading some of the reviews I almost didn't make it. It got thick right in the blender!!! It is in the fridge right now, but like Marcela I did a little dip sample and it was wonderful!!!! So quick and easy! Going to do some fresh whipped cream to garnish with. A very easy inexpensive dessert! We will eat after dinner tonight-also trying out the corn and poblano lasagna recipe.

Amazing! Had a hard time finding the cookies so I just used some shortbread cookies and mashed them to make crumbs. This was fun for my son and the results were simply amazing. Will make again (but not too soon cuz they can't be healthy :

This recipe is missing something to help it set. Either heavy whipping cream in lieu of evaporated milk or unflavored gelatin. I too had the same problem with it not setting and cookies floating to the top. I read an earlier review that suggested folding cream cheese in to make it set better. That too would have done the trick. I only wish that this recipe would be corrected on this site because the flavors are mos def there.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but this did not work for me. The mixture was very runny. I used graham crackers, but they would not stay in the bottom of the dish, they just floated to the top. Also, I put it in the fridge over night and it never set up. The flavor is great, but I think it needs something added to it to allow it to set up.

Hi, Marcela. When I watched your final tasting of this dish - the consistency in camera
was superb - but when I read the recipe in my opinion one ingredient is missing. Either
cream cheese, frozen whipped topping or unflavored gelatin. I prepare a very similar dessert with canned pears and that is the consistency I get with either of those ingredients. Good
    luck with your program.

I used I can each of the sweetened condensed milk (Eagle Brand and 1 can of evaporated milk, plus the lime juice and Maria crackers. Even after being in the fridge overnight, it did not set up at all. Still completely liquid.

Is there an item missing from the ingredients? My husband who caught the beginning of the show said heavy cream should be in there. I definitely want to try this but, of course, don't want to miss anything. Thx.

Awesome. I used key limes which are much more intense flavor. Mama Ruiz I don't know what you did but if you used "heavy" whipping cream there is no way you could have gone wrong Eating it right now as I write and this is incredible. I used right at 1/2 cup key lime juice. Living in So Cal I enjoy having access to Mexican ingredients. Marcela, you cute little honey, you rock.
