Very good! Just ate one almost straight from the oven... I know it's bad to alter a recipe and then review it but I didn't have milk so I used OJ, still tasted so yummy! I've been making Giada's banana with macarpone cheese for a long time but this might be my new one! thank you Marcella! And mexican chocolate makes them unique..xx

This is one of the easiest recipes I've tried. It's great with or without the chocolate. I make these at least once or twice every 2 weeks because we always have bananas in the house.

This recipe was absolutely delicious! I was surprised by the lack of equipment needed. Thank you for a wonderful recipe. I've made this twice already =

These are amazing!! I didn't however have whole milk, but rather skim milk instead so I added another 1/2 banana. My bananas were rather black and mushy and that didn't make a difference. I also will add another 1/2 circle of chocolate next time.
Gracias!!

omg!!! THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST MUFFINS EVER. The key is the way Marcela described the method of making. good job. I only used what I had in the kitchen, which is semi-sweet chocolate and buttermilk. However when I saw it was to lumpy I added a bit of 2% milk lactose free. i followed the recipie and Voila! Magnificent texture and taste. Will save it on my recipie box and make it again for my grandkids and neighbors. Thanks

I have the pickiest little guy in the world and even he liked these. The muffin itself is delicate and moist - delicious! And, this was the first time I have ever tried Mexican chocolate ... you have to use the real stuff ... it was awesome!
