    I liked it! I followed the recipe exactly but had to cook the pudding about 25 minutes for it to get thick enough. Maybe I had the heat too low. It tastes so much better when it's cold than warm or room temperature. I found it to be sweet enough as is. I would recommend it and will be making it again.

    Swapped out the whole milk for heavy cream because thats what was in the refrigerator. Don't know what its like with the milk but cream is fantastic. It is a a heavy, sweet, creamy dessert. everyone loved it, I will definitely try again, maybe with the coconut water too!

    Mi nana lo hacia tambien y tu lo ases como ella!! Y siempre salia muy rico ! Your recipe is very similar too my nanas, But she would add vanilla. Im very excited to see a mexican chef whos recipes are simple and very authentic .... similar to my nanas.(:

    This recipe is good, but not very sweet. I did not change anything and follow exact instructions. And i got a beige color pudding at the end. I will try other Rice Pudding recipes.

    I love love love this creamy concoction....I have adapted some of my favorite flavors....I add 15 ounces of store bought cream of coconut as a part of the 7 cups of water during step one of the process. I also include 2 full cinnamon sticks and a teaspoon of vanilla.....the addition of the coconut milk is subtle but exotic.... I follow the rest of the recipe just as written...I serve this tasty treat with sliced banana and mango....or for me I just take little bites while no one is looking!!! Yummy!!!!

    Latina here. My family's rice pudding is very yummy but has a lot of ingredients and is time consuming. We love this recipe. It is so simple and just as yummy. We've made this at least a dozen times, but we still make our family's recipe (when we've the time. Also, we refrigerate left overs and eat again by adding warm milk. Está buenisimo. Gracias Marcela
