Marcela this Arroz con Leche was great!!!! My brother grew up eating this desert (cold while living in Mexico with his grandmother. He's been asking me for years to make this, then I found your recipe. He says it is 'Heaven on a spoon'. Thanks

Marcela!!! This is beyond amazing!! I've made it 3 times now and everyone who tries it begs me for more!!!! My hubby was born in LA but we now live on the east coast. Finding authentic mexican food has been hard but this and many of your other recipes are truly amazing!!!! Muchas gracias!!!

Marcela you are amazing! I wish I found your recipe yesterday, but previously when I have looked on Food Network for rice pudding recipes I couldn't find quite what I wanted. My girlfriend's mother in law is Cuban and makes delicious rice pudding. Your recipe is as good as hers. My son loves it (yesterday's batch turned out al dente or "crunchy" in his words. You saved me woman! I will stick to your rice pudding recipe for life! The secret is boiling the rice until over done in extra water then straining "excellent technique". Gracias!

This was absolutely amazing! I loved to warm it up and add some extra cinnamon on top with some whipped cream. Mmmm... very simple to make and sooo good!

ummm...ummm...ummm.... I am trying to lose weight so i eat sweets but i tried to just eat a little bit.....Well i served myself 2 cups of these total.... It's that good.....Well i guess now i have to double my exercise routine to burn it out.

I love Marcela's recipes. They're so easy and full of flavor, I loved the arroz con leche but it was too sweet for my taste buds. Next time I will add a little bit of the rice water and not put so much condensed milk. The cinammon and raisins give it a nice flavor also.

Great Recipe! Only deviation was that I had "black" raisins on hand and that's what I used. It was quite sweet when I tasted it warm but after it cooled some, the sweetest seemed to subside. It was good and I'll make it again. When it says 4 servings, that would be very generous. It is rich, so I feel it could serve 8 easily with whipped cream. YUM!
