After watching the video, i made the salad & shrimp burgers, they were not a hit in my home. I followed the directions, normally I tweek recipes with a little more flavors, but decided to just follow the recipe & see how it turns out. should have read the reviews first. might try it again with suggestions from the other review with adding more of an uumph to it. but I do have to say the aioli turned out really good, next time I'm adding another Serrano.

Loved this recipe..we had shrimp burgers years ago on our honeymoon is Mexico and have tried a couple of different recipes but thie was definately the best. Added a little extra cilantro and some olive oil to the canola and wrapped the burgers in bacon: They were perfect. Thank you Marcela!

After getting to the point of having to cook these I made a tester and decided it needed a little more uumph. So I added a little lime juice, cumin and a little chili powder and that gave it the uumph I was looking for. I also adjusted the salt and pepper too. Always BYOC (Be Your Own Chef and use recipes as a guide only with the exception of baked goods since baking is an exact science. I always try to improve on flavors that I love and never stick totally to a recipe unless it is perfect as is which seldom ever happens. I will make again with my personal tweaks. I am a personal chef so forgive me for sounding like an instuctor.

Yum!! I saw Marcela make these on the Today Show as well as Mexican Made Easy, so I knew it was a recipe I needed to try. I agree with a previous reviewer that they are a bit labor - especially with having to roast the pepper - but these are VERY good.

My daughter LOVED Marcela's shrimp burger recipe. Tonight we are reproducing it but this time we will are making the spicy aioli mayo. Looking forward to it!

I LOVED this!! It was a flavor explosion in my mouth! The prep was a little labor intensive, but well worth it!

I saw this episode this past wkend and decided to try the shrimp burgers and aioli. My 14 yr old daughter adamantly told me that she was not going to eat them and would not even try them. ha ha Needless to say....she ate more than anyone else!

My kids do not like spicy foods so I did not put the peppers into the shrimp or aioli, but they loved them. I made them as sliders, rather than burgers, and grilled them on the George Foreman grill with butter. YUM! Ms. "I won't even try them" ate SIX!!!!

The aioli is SOOOO GOOD! I will definately remember this for regular burgers as well!
