OMG!! Marcela is da bomb!! This is so delish!!! You get all these flavors of sweet, smoky and the heat from the pablanos is spot on! I dont think it would be too hot for most (except the super sensitive We personally prefer a good med-hot heat - i would say this is medium...??? Probably depends on the pepper! But yet another super dish from Marcela. Thanks!!

As good as expected. I made this as an entree and served it over yellow rice. Can't go wrong with poblanos and corn and the mushrooms were a great addition. Next time I'll use fresh shrimp instead of frozen which would certainly up the flavor quotient.

This has an incredible flavor without being too spicy. The peppers and mushrooms are delicious and the shrimp add a nice protein heartiness to it. Easy to make, and looks amazing on the plate!

I absolutely loved this recipe, we used fresh sweet corn from a local farm stand and it was awesome, my wife loved it too. The poblanos added just enough heat and with the sweetness of the corn and the taste of the mushrooms it all worked very well together. I have already told some coworkers about the recipe and I cant wait to make it again.
    Thank you Marcela

We really liked this dish. I guess I'm used to Mexican restaurant dishes where they are covered with sauces - so when close to the end of cooking I thought there should be more sauce. However, it made sense that this was not a saucy dish. The pablanos I bought at an international market were HOT. I've had pablanos many times before-sometimes they are hot-sometimes not. I didn't have a problem with this because I like hot.
I really liked all of the different layers of flavor and that the shrimp had it's own flavor not being cooked in the dish.
I do recommend this dish and I've had great luck with Marcela's other dishes. Seems all of her recipes get high ratings and for good reason. Try the shrimp coctel - excellent as well. Thanks Marcala!

Easy and excellent! It vanished in a hurry. I may add a jalapeno to the grill next time to kick it up another notch.

Incredibly delish!!! We have had this for several events with company - we LOVE it! I've posted it on FB. For us, we like to substitute shitake mushrooms for the buttons. Try that!!! Mm-mm-mm!

This recipe is amazing. I too, removed the tails from the shrimp before cooking to make it easier for my kids when they ate. I did add a little cayenne to the flour for the shrimp as we like our dishes SPICY. This will be made again! Yum!
