OMG! My husband (who is extremely picky loved this recipe! It was gone so fast, I wish I had made double. It was so easy to make. We have an electric stove, so I had to broil the pablanos., turning them every few minutes. When I was making it, I was thinking, this doesn't look so pretty. Don't let that dissuade you. It's delicious and the leftovers are even better.

Delicioso! Took it to a Christmas potluck and it was a huge hit.

Ridiculously easy! Seriously, I'm amazed out how flavorful and satisfying this dish is considering that the prep is so simple. I removed the shrimp tails before coating in the flour mix and am unsure why the recipe directed me to leave them on; I suspect that it is just a matter of personal preference.

Yesterday I watched the recording of this show, and realized that I had everything needed to try it. So, I came home from work, and fixed this tonight!
So yummy!! It's one of my favorite recipes, now! I used low sodium chicken broth and dry vermouth instead of the veggie broth and white wine.
I've tried several of Marcela's recipes, and, so far, they are consistently very good.
Thanks Food Network!! And, especially, thanks Marcela, for helping a gringo who loves Mexican food have these wonderful flavors at home!!

I made this last night. This is very easy, other than cleaning the shrimp. I am getting good at charring the poblanos, just broil them, turning a few times every 3 minutes!
I fed this to a pot luck at my house, I could prepare it as people were milling around it was so easy and put hot on the table with all the side dishes people brought. Many requests for the recipe! HA-the downside is that 4 out of 12 of us got sick that night, we can't find the culprit, could have been any of a dozen dishes! They still want the recipe...i'll make this again.

Woke up this morning thinking about cooking at home (we're busy family and I usually work on Saturdays. My husband looked at your recipe and wanted to give it a try. (simple and easy - he's a shrimp lover and me too. We just tried it and it worked very well for us - just delicious!! We also combined it with rice and tortilla and we ended up full and ready to take a nap!!... Thank you for the recipe!!
