I loved these. The salsa was ok by itself but was great in the quesadillas. I used pepper jack cheese for a little heat . Will definitely make these again.

I loved cooking the tortillas in the meat juices, it made it very tasty and added a nice crunch!!

Outstanding! The salsa is fantastic--just enough heat. I'm making it again, for a work lunch soon.

I made only the salsa - to go with chicken tacos. I had 2 giant jalapenos, left the seeds and ribs in, followed the recipe, and the salsa was great. The pectin in the apples gives the salsa a nice consistency. The heat came at the end of the bite. I don't like sweet food. I did not find this salsa sweet at all. Between using big jalapenos, 2 big cloves of garlic, and tart Granny Smith apples, along with the other ingredients, this made a very tasty salsa that my family and I would be happy to eat again.

The salsa was lacking any heat what so ever. I used four jalapenos and only one apple, I still had no bite to the salsa. I didn't try the steak because we had a ribeye instead.

Marcella, keep more like this coming! We just loved the whole picture! Individually, each item was OK but put them all together with a little guacamole and some sour cream and we were in heaven. Not too spicy, my husband has a gringo tongue but I took out the jalapeno seeds and ribs like you are always showing to reduce the heat. And we are not cilantro fans but those who like it should add it to the sauce. I love your show and hope it keeps on coming!!!

YUM!! This one was a hit at the weekend mex nite for the family. Saw it Saturday and made it Sunday. The salsa was GOOD!! Slice the skirt steak against the grain so it won't be tough and cook steak medium rare too. Omit the apple if you don't want it sweet and a little fresh cilantro won't hurt either.
