I tried this recipe and I am not sure what went wrong. I thought I followed the receipe to a T. I searched high and low for ancho chile powder and finally found it at Dean & Deluca. Maybe it was the spice but there was definitely something lacking in the flavor and the taste.

Fiance and I tried this recipe and it came out great! Considering we forgot to season the sauce with salt and pepper. Will definitely try this recipe many times more and expect to get better.

I made this with boneless chicken breast and it was so good. I used the extra sauce in the pan as a dipping sauce.
I love this show!

My husband liked them, but felt like it needed a little more kick! We will definitely try them again.

My husband has eaten the "real" buffalo wings in Buffalo, NY and he is very picky about game day wings BUT he LOVED these! Marcela is great and FN has to move her show to a more viewer friendly time slot! I record her show and watch as I cook but I'd love to sit in the family room with friends and talk about it as we can do with other shows on Food Network!

My daughter and I made this recipe on Superbowl Sunday. It was such a surprise...so easy and lots of great taste. The ancho chile gave it a mexi kick. I'll be watching this show every Saturday!

I made these for the superbowl and they were tasty but definitely not the best wings I have had (hence the four star rating.

The best wings I've ever had! Can't wait to make again!! I used 1 Tablespoon of cayene pepper instead of the anco, VERY spicy. I might try 2 Tablespoons next time cause I like it hot. Thanks Marcela...I enjoy your show.

The sauce was nice, perhaps my oven was off, but the skin didn't get crispy enough for my or my husbands taste. Perhaps next time I'll try deep-frying the wings to get them crispy and then dunk them in the sauce or using a higher heat in the oven. I added a few drops of Tabasco for my husband, but it was fine without it. If you are having problems finding the ancho - new mexico chili powder might work as well. I found it pretty readily but I also live in AZ.
