LOVE the flavors, but not crisp. Chicken skin was still rubbery. What am I doing wrong?

Okay, on the show werent the pecans added on top of the drumettes after she basted them? I don't know if that would make a difference or not. I cant wait to try them, digging this new show.

The basic concept is very nice...mixing sweet with spices. Honey was new to me. Personal opinion...bake/roast/BBQ etc. your chicken 1st, then coat with sweet/spice sauce then put back in the oven per recipe. I found the crunchy chicken wings are better in texture as I have described. Have fun.

i watched the show this moring i was like is this lady crazy mixing pecans with, honey and spicy together so i made them and they were fantastic my little sister and brother loved them thANKS FOR A great idea
