Our family thinks these are terrific. For an easy, but very tasty meal, this is a good standby for us!

Very tasty, my husband even liked it and he usually only likes the same old sloppy Joe recipe. I added the pickled jalapenos and guacamole slices to mine and loved it.

I didn't like it....sorry! I love some of the other recipes she creates but this one wasn't my fave. I didn't put the carrots or corn because my hubby doesn't like that sort of thing...I only used one jalapeno and that was plenty spicy. Like I said, my hubby loved it and cleaned out the pan. I didn't care for it...won't stop me from using Mexican Made Easy recipes, though!

It was pretty mild considering 2 chopped jalapenos were added. But it is still flavorful with the thyme, oregano and bay leaf. We used it with guacamole for burritos or a salad. I really liked the simplicity and versatility of this dish; you can add more if you like spicy or leave as is. This will be a go-to recipe for daily meals because I usually have all these ingredients on hand. Thank you, Marcela!

It was just ok. Without the avocado slices, it would have been bland. I added extra spices too. It was moist as the turkey did not dry out. Overall I wouldn't make it again. Maybe it just wasn't what I expected?

This dish was missing the 'wow' factor, it needed some spice. The avocado and pickled jalapeno worked well as garnishes. I'll make this again since it's a healthy dish, but I'll work on the spices a bit - maybe another jalapeno or 2 and/or some crushed red pepper.

Conceptually this initial recipe was great, we loved the texuture; however, for our taste we found that it needed more spice, some cayenne pepper and chili powder and a bit of tomato paste. We also salted a bit more. I do not care for sloppy Joes, but this I loved.

Quick and easy. We saw the show this morning - thought I had pretty much everything on hand. . . Had to make some substitutions - didn't have fresh herbs so used dried, didn't use fresh jalapeno - used the pickled ones, used canned corn instead of frozen or fresh and when I cut into my avocado - it wasn't good - so no avocado. I topped mine with chopped cilantro and the jalapenos! It was still very good! Running back to the store to get a new avocado and some fresh jalapenos for later this evening - having leftovers.
