I love this new show! I made this recipe, and got rave reviews! Insttead of skirt steak, I used a family pack of trimmed boneless strip steak. Pasted the inside of shells with both refried beans, & guacamole. I also cut up fresh tomatoes & instead of the beef broth I used bloody mary mix. I also changed out fresh garlic with a few pieces of roasted garlic from glass jar. Keep on rocking with these great recipes Marcela, I've loved & tried almost ALL your recipes.

I decided to make the burritos with freshly made flour tortillas, and the results were wonderful!!! Definately worth the time... I couldn't stop picking at the meat from the pot just too delicious...!!!

I followed the recipe, except left out the garlic (personal choice. I used enough flank steak to make eight large burritos which was about twice the amount of meat used in the program. There was enough ingredients as listed in the marinade recipe for all that meat. Then when I cooked everything together in the pot there was sauce left over at the end which is being saved to make gravy for another meal of hamburger steak and potatoes. I just ladles off the extra liquid until I got the meat and vegetables to the amount of moisture I wanted for the burritos. The meat was tender and shreaded just right. We, my wife and daughter, loved it.

I cooked the meat according to directions and it was stringy and a little tough. The sauce was delicious though. Next time I'll probably throw everything in the crockpot for the day.

Made this and used it for tacos instead of burritos. With some fresh guacamole , , , yummy!!! Could not quit picking at the meat out of the pot.

I made this recipe yesterday. It came out very good, the meat was not chewy or hard. The liquid evaperated and a thick sauce was left. Great for burritos. YUMMY!!
