El pastel azteca was really tasty- 4 stars instead of 5 because like reviewers said, if you follow the recipe, you'll be short some tortillas-use 18-that will provide proper coverage for the casserole dish. I added about 1 cup diced chicken I had on hand, and the overall flavor was delicious.

This is delicious! A fabulous dish for Meatless Mondays. Very simple to make and as is the case with most casseroles, it was much better the next two days.

Loved this! The flavors were so bright and the dish was so colorful. The textures were both creamy and crunch came from the zucchini. This is a keeper!

This was excellent! The tomatoes at the store didn't look great so I used canned tomato sauce instead. I also only used about half of the zucchini and replaced the other half with squash. As the other reviews said to fry up more tortillas - I did and used about 16 total. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly and it was fabulous! I'll definitely make this again but since we are big fans of spice I'll probably add some jalapeños or hatch chilies. Yum!!!

One of the best new recipes I've tried. Love all the freshness and so easy. I also added another ear of corn and more zucchini and tomatoes.

But, I was dreaming about this casserole hours after I had it for dinner. I know it will taste even better today after setting for 24 hrs. Good job Marcela!

I made this a couple of days ago and my family loved it. I did change it a bit. Instead of using one ear of corn I used four. I also used more than 12 tortillas (about 15. I also used more tomatoes and one more onion.

GOOD!I took the advice of Wabbit0841's tortilla suggestion and used 18 that was the perfect amount. Here are my suggestions for next time:cook the poblano chili's first.I would also suggest that you use more tomatoes than the recipe calls for. I ended up having to add spaghetti sauce to have more sauce in the mix.I plan on warming up the tortillas instead of frying them. Lastly, I would add more sour cream/ it actually cooks down to be like Ricotta Cheese. I hope this helps and ENJOY it as much as I did! Thanks Marcela!
