Marinated Flank Steak
- Flank steak (2 pounds)
- 1/3 cup minced shallot
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons fresh thyme
- Big dash hot sauce
- 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
When ready to prepare, remove flank steak from the marinade and place on a grill pan. Grill for about 3 or 4 minutes (for rare), or up to 5 minutes for medium.
