My husband liked this marinade but I found it over-poweringly sweet with the steak...will not make again

I tried this recipe on some buffalo london broil. Marinated the meat over night and tossed it on the grill with some beer soaked hickory chips. The meat was so tender than it cut like butter when sliced on a bias. I thought that the marinade was so good, even tried it on some inexpensive cuts of sirloin and again the meat was really tender that you almost didn't have to use a steak knife! Will use this over and over again!

We use flank instead of the London Broil. Don't know why just do...it has been renamed to "The Steak" by family and friends. It is a no fail recipe for us. Everyone raves about it. We have been making it for a few years now and it is aways requested. Awesome flavor!

This was soooo easy to make, made the meat tender and flavorful. The sauce was easy as pie to finish and gave the dish and extra something rather than recipes for London Broil that don't have a sauce.
