Ingredients
- 1 pound pasta, of choice
- 10 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
- Salt and pepper
Directions
While 1 pound of pasta of choice cooks, melt the butter in a small saucepan. Add 1/2 cup of pasta cooking water and heat through.
Toss al dente pasta into the pan with the butter and add cheese to heat through. Season with salt and pepper.

Delicious! I used it as a base for a mac n cheese recipie, but I changed to chedder cheese and doubled it. Yummmo! Also added peas and hot dogs, but can use whatever combo you like for your mac n cheese. That's just what I had at home at the time.

I literally only had butter, pasta, and water in my dorm. You RULE. me and my roommate ate this for days and it was really cheap. Thanks Mario.
