I made this recipe because I had a bunch of leftover berries from a farmers market I didn't know what to do with, and I only had very basic ingredients with which to make something (too little sugar to make jam, etc., and it was surprisingly delicious.
My boyfriend & I enjoyed it VERY much topped with a bit of powdered sugar & with a side of eggs for breakfast.

Rhis is sooo simple to make and was a big hit with family and friends. It's not too sweet (reminds me of biscotti and the tartness of the berries is perfect with the "cake." I'll definitely make this again (and again....
