This recipe was ok, but like the other reviewer said, I couldn't get the center cooked. They were doughy and very dense.

Update: The temperature of the oil should be at 375. We have added this to the recipe. The cook time for frying the doughnuts has also been adjusted from 7 to 8 minutes until they turn a light, golden brown.

What temp should the oil be at to fry? We tried temps ranging from 350 to 425 and the insides never cooked through! Perhaps with better instructions this could be a good recipe. :(
