I made this recipe and it was great, the chocolate did not taste weird on the duck at all, and in fact it added a very nice, but subtle, bitterness that I really enjoyed. I would recommend this to anyone. And, by the way, Barbara from Barton; I do not think that you should make a review for a recipe you haven't even tried. Besides, chocolate was originally used as a savory ingredient, not a sweet one. Also, if chicken with chocolate (mole isn't weird, why would duck with chocolate be?

This was simple for me to make and everyone loved it, 4 adults. I'm a chocolate lover and this dish was just excellent. It is on my make often list!!!!! Mario you are the best!!!!!

YOU GOTTA BE KIDDIN' ME !!!! Duck with CHOCOLATE ?!?!?!?! I can't say that I've MADE this recipe - I was just looking.Almost ALL of Mario's recipes are too weird for me !!!!! I'll stick w / Rachael , Paula & Ina , thank you very much!!!
